Since 2002, the federal government has issued commemorative gold coins through five mints: Berlin (A), Munich (D), Stuttgart (F), Karlsruhe (G), and Hamburg (J).
20 euro gold coins: The German Forest, 2010 - 2015 (oak, beech, chestnut, pine, beech, spruce) 1/8 ounce (3.89 g) fine gold
20 euro gold coins: Domestic birds, 2016 - 2021 (nightingale, oriole, eagle owl, peregrine falcon, black stork) 1/8 ounce (3.89 g) fine gold
50 euro gold coins: musical instruments, 2018 - 2022 (double bass, fortepiano, orchestral horn, timpani) 1/4 ounce (7.78 g) fine gold
50 euro gold coins: Luther Rose, 2017, 1/4 ounce (7.78 g) fine gold
100 euro gold coins: UNESCO World Heritage Site with monetary union and FIFA World Cup, 2001 - 2019, 1/2 ounce (15.55 g) fine gold

    Alle Münzen bestehen aus 900/1000-Silber.

    Die 3-Mark-Münzen sind 16,667 Gramm schwer und haben einen Durchmesser von 33 mm.
